So, Detroit's mayor was charged today on 12 counts...quite a day for the "new" Detroit. As a new member of the metro community, I DO believe in the city and know that Detroit can turn it around. Kwame did do a lot as far as economic development, but this debacle is not helping the spiritual and emotional development of a much-bruised city.This is how we were portrayed in the major internet news world. The headlines earlier in the day were much, much bigger, but were trumped by the much awaited Sirius-XM merger...Baba Booey, Baba Booey, Baba Booey.
